Larry and Jimmie Lu met one Sunday night at Church. From then on it was God's will for them to be together. In November of 1992 they married. In a short 2 years they stared adding to their family with the birth of their daughter in 1994. They also had 2 sons in 1996 and in 1998. Jimmie Lu homeschooled their 3 children until 2006 when with prayerful consideration they started attending the public school. Larry and Jimmie Lu resided in Pottsville PA until 2005 when they moved to a home in a nice small town country setting in Hegins. They started RV missions in 1998 traveling across the United States doing what the Lord led them to do. It was while doing so they met Mike and Karen Atwood of D.F.I. Thru them they did ministry on the Indian Reservation in South Dakota twice. In 2002 they joined the D.F.I. fellowship and began the Chaplin program at the Tremont Health and Rehab Center. When the fullfilled the requirements of the School of Ministry they were interviewed by D.F.I board members and it was decided to ordain the Smallwoods. So in August of 2003 Mike and Karen traveled to PA and ordined them. In 2004 The Atwoods called on the Smallwoods to take the RV ministry into Mexico. So in July 2004 they went into Mexico and visited the community they now work with. Also on this trip the met Chris and Deanna Clark and LGOM ministries. It was on the return home of this trip that the Lord spoke to the Smallwoods to return and build a home. In April 2005 Larry and Jimmie Lu took their first team into Mexico and built a home. In April 2006 they retuned with a 2nd team and again in November with a 3rd team to build a 3rd home. In 2007 It is Larry and Jimmie Lu's desire to continue serving the Lord in whatever manor He calls them to do.
